Hi!

I have just upgrade my AMPPS installation to the last public version. My current installed version is: 2.8 Build on December 31 2014. Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit.

When I run AMPPS, Mysql Server starts but Apache doesn't..I have already checked and selected the option "Start on Session Startup" rebooted the whole system but nothing changed..

Any ideas? I have to finish a job, any help is really appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi,

Unfortunatly I wasn't able to find a work around or a solution for my problem.. To avoid wasting time I suggest you to make a backup of yours "www" directory and your database and then make a clean installation.. That was I did to solve my problem..

I suspect that for unknown reason the upgrade "brake" some dll or process and AAMPS stop working..

I gave a look at the forum and I saw that a lot of users had the same problem..

It seems that there is something broken in the package...

As I was able to install it without problems I started thinking what's the difference between me and you..

My system is windows 7 32 bit ultimate (but this package also works fine with my other system: windows 7 professional 64 bit).

I installed AAMPS as administrator.. try to re-install it as administrator (indeed i have two accounts)...

Let's give it a try ;-)

Same problem.

Running Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit with all updates.

Tried running as Administrator, both in the default 'C:\Program Files(x86)' directory and in 'C:\Server'. Tried nuking every trace of Ampps and manual removal. Scanned registry for old files. Attempted about 5 re-installations with slightly different methods.

Pops up, doesn't start Apache, reports a new upgrade available? This is a fresh download both yesterday and today from the Ampps website. This version is definitely broken.

Hi

If your Apache is not Working.

Go to Your Ampps/apache/conf/extra folder.
Open httpd-ssl.conf
clear all data and save it.

Open httpd-autoindex.conf
Replace all occurrences of E:\ampps with $path
and save it

If you face the issue related MSVCR110.dll

make sure that you have installed Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 : VC11 vcredist_x64/86.exe

Follow this link: http://www.apachelounge.com/download/

Download VC11 vcredist_x64/86.exe and Install it.

Now Run Apache.
Please let us know if you still facing the same issue.
