Installing Softaculous Remote, How to install (2 Replies, Read 2425 times)

I don't see anywhere a recommendation of a Linux distro to setup for a VM that will be used for my Remote installed.
I installed a Debian 7.6 with basically nothing on it but SSH. I assumed the Softaculous installer would install the web server and DB server etc.
During the running of install.sh I got an error on line 89, something about a missing/usr/local/emps/bin/php
Now when I try and run /install.sh it brings up a banner------------------------------------------------------------------    Welcome to Softaculous Apps Installer------------------------------------------------------------------
and dumps me back to a command line.
Is there a preferred OS for the install of Softaculous remote that does not have problems?
Thanks!

Hi,

CentOS is preferred for using Softaculous Remote.

Webuzo - Multi User Hosting Control Panel
AMPPS - Best WordPress/PHP/MySQL development tool

I did install on Centos and after working with support I was able to get it working. It did not get any errors after installing on Centos.
Thanks!
