Softaculous <![CDATA[Backup Non-Softaculous Scripts]]>
Yes, i am aware that there is a backup feature in Webuzo, however it can only be used with scripts installed from the softaculous portion of the panel. This kinda sucks if your a developer (like me) writing scripts that are private to me and wish to have backups created for them along with the database they use.

Could we please get a way to backup the main website directory along with databases associated with a site? Webuzos implementation of backups seems a bit limiting... ZPanel, Sentora, ISPConfig, and many other panels have a better backup solution (like the one i mentioned) out of the box. I find it crazy that backups can only be made with softaculous-installed scripts.]]>

<![CDATA[Ampps cannot be opened because of a problem]]>
Can I ask you which way do you use to upgrade between ampps versions?

For example I have to upgrade from 2.5 to 2.8, I usually make a backup of websites, db and config files.
Then I copy them over the new installation and it usually works but I am not pretty sure it is the correct way.

It would be good if AMPPS itself would be able to upgrade to the new version when available. Or it would be good if an update upgrade procedure description would be available on the wiki.]]>

I followed the security steps of changing the AMPPS default password. Now I need a password when I arrive at the AMPPS home screen. It wont accept any password I try, and defaults to the username "SOFT". I try to do an email password reset, but afterward get to a blank page. No email is ever sent.

Please help!]]>

<![CDATA[Magento 1.9.1 has wrong permissions]]>
Quote From : Brijesh December 31, 2014, 7:17 am

Sir by default the permission for files is 0644 and we do not set executable permissions for because we setup the CRON job with cron.php in the magento package hence is not used.

Let us know if you have any questions.
Sorry, didn't get notified of your reply, so just saw this. With 1.9.1, the following commands are in cron.php:
shell_exec("/bin/sh $baseDir/ $fileName -mdefault 1 > /dev/null 2>&1 &");
shell_exec("/bin/sh $baseDir/ $fileName -malways 1 > /dev/null 2>&1 &");

So, while cron.php is enabled to run, if is not executable, these commands in cron.php fail.]]>
