Topic : How to uninstall default scripts

Posted By: GapGeeks on April 20, 2012, 11:57 pm
I just loaded up the latest version of Webuzo 1.7.  When I go to the Software tab, I see 59 scripts installed.  I don't want them there.  I unchecked the box and clicked update.  It seems to download an update, then re-checks the box again.  So, how can I uninstall these defaults?

Hi,

In the Webuzo Admin Panel -> Software tab select the scripts you want to use and uncheck the scripts you do not want to enable, then click on Update Settings.
This will enable the selected scripts and disable the unchecked ones. You will have to select atleast one script.

I did this exact process multiple times, in two different instances.  I used this AMI:

webuzocentos13 (ami-83e12aea)

I updated to version 1.7

Before I go thru giving you my root access, can you try this in your lab?

Hi,

I have launched a Webuzo instance with AMI webuzocentos13 (ami-83e12aea) and tried enabling/disabling scripts in the Software tab. Also, I repeated the procedure after I restarted the instance..
It works...!!!
