hello,

i have now softaculous  with my 2 vps. and i want to install on all my vps's. but i am facing a very ugly problem. i tried to solve it in last 3 hours, but failed. and i am disappointed softaculous  doesnt has what i want.

softaculous is just installing wordpress in default.

but why cant we make a standard wordpress install and then it installs everytime that?

so:

- my own themes; i solved this by uploading my themes to wp.zip
- my own plugins: i solved this by uploading my themes to wp.zip
- activate plugins: so how to let it automatically active the plugins i want when i make a new wordpress install?
- i want to configure the plugins so it will always install that to all blogs i create.

Enable the "Auto Update WordPress Plugins" option while installing the script. In order to force this option add the following line to the __install() function in install.php of your custom script :
PHP Code

 $_POST['auto_upgrade_plugins'] = 'On'

Hi,

Please install WordPress on your account login to the admin panel and install the plugins you need an also make the changes you want.

After this make the ZIP package with the path of your customized WordPress installation :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/Custom_WordPress_Package#Rename_the_package_files

Also take a dump of your database in SQL file and replace all the dynamic values like Table Prefix => [[dbprefix]], Path to installation => [[softpath]], URL to installation => [[softurl]], Admin Username => [[admin_username]], Admin Pass => [[admin_pass]], etc

You can refer the wp.sql in /var/softaculous/wp/wp.sql to see which parameters you need replace.
