 Softaculous installed but not showing in cpanel (14 Replies, Read 8493 times)

Hi there,

I have successfully installed softaculous on my cpanel vps and it is showing in whm but it is not showing in anyones cpanel account so no one is able to use it. Can I ask is there something I need to do to make it work? I have reboot the server 3 times since the install but this hasn't resolved it.

You have to activate "Instant Installs" in the feature manager for the client packages in WHM.

I don't understand what you mean. There is no facility for this in whm. The features manager doesn't have softaculous in it.

I found what you mentioned above but and have updated it. But this has made no difference what-so-ever as Softaculous isn't visible in cpanel at all.

Run this Shell:
touch /var/cpanel/usecpphp

Can you Run this command:
root> /usr/local/cpanel/bin/register_cpanelplugin /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/softaculous.cpanelplugin

I am having the exact same problem...Softaculous is checked in the feature manager, everythings seems OK but the icon does not show up in my users CPanels. I have cleared cache and still nothing...

Hi,

Is the Softaculous icon not showing up then just run the following shell:root> /usr/local/cpanel/bin/register_cpanelplugin /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/softaculous.cpanelplugin

If its showing a Blank Page then run this:
Root> touch /var/cpanel/usecpphp

If this doesnt work, please contact support and they will help you fix it.

I have the same problem, there is no "Softaculous" in the feature manager
I have tried to reinstall softaculous and also run
Code
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/register_cpanelplugin /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/softaculous.cpanelplugin
but the icon does not show up in my users cCPanel.

What should I do?

In the feature manager Softaculous will be shown as "Instant Install"
