 Installing ImageMagick, New MAC user having difficulty getting Imagick working (5 Replies, Read 6617 times)

I have tried following install directions and have identify -Version working but when searching for .so file I  cannot find one. Can someone please help me understand how i can install this as a php extension in AMPPS.

I installed autoconf but now i get yet another error.

On make i get the following

I have looked at the solution but i am unaware of what this step is referring to.
I will keep trying to figure it out.

So the only file named like the one that is "missing" is in the ImageMagick install folder that is in my downloads.

Would i link that file to the ./configure in the way shown in step 4? If so what flag would i use. I looked in --help but there seems to be many options there and it seems a bit convoluted. Is that considered a library or an include or ...? I am a little out of my element.
