Topic : Downgrade a script?

I had auto-update turned on and now I'm regretting it. Drupal 7 was just released - yay for getting it in so fast! But it'll be a long time before I can convince anybody to use it - there's still a lot of work and debugging to do. I'll probably be installed Drupal 6 sites for months. But Drupal 6 is gone now! How can I get it back? Is that possible?

Hi,

Softaculous only supports the Latest Stable release sir. What is the problem in using 7.0. Its safer and better.

Regards,
ALons

Drupal 7 was JUST released. It's hard to say whether it's safer - it hasn't had much analysis in the wild. In fact it's probably worse - we won't know until a few patch releases come out. And it's missing a lot of things. There are very few themes available for it so far, a bunch of modules don't yet work in it, etc.

Still, if that's the answer, that's the answer. It's only the next few months.

Separate note: suggestion. Drupal 7 requires PDO, which isn't installed by default on most cPanel instances. I just did an install which went fine, but Drupal wouldn't work until I put that in. It would be really cool if you could check for that and give a warning!
