Topic : MySQL Errors: Please Help!

Hi,

So I woke up this morning to find all my Softaculous installations which require MySQL were coming up with:

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

Did something change over night that makes them not work all of a sudden? I've not changed any of the settings, I wouldnt even know how to! Can somebody help me in a non jargon form, I am a beginner after all. :squi:

Hi,

Is your MySQL running ?
Please ask your host to check if MySQL is working fine on your server.

If you want we can check it for you if you open a support ticket with a test account details.

Hi thanks for the quick reply!

I actually use a reseller account to host all my sites (as I have quite a few) so its done through WHM. Could you still help me out?

We checked your server and it seems that your MySQL service is not running.
Please contact your host to get this fixed.
