 Help Me About Permissions, Can't rewrite (3 Replies, Read 19961 times)

Hello i have new trouble with webuzo.

I am install domain and subdomain with webuzo cpanel. It's look work normaly and my domain was can access online.

But when i try install theme or plugins it's not forbiden. I got notice "Connection Information

To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed. If you do not remember your credentials, you should contact your web host."

And i must insert FTP Account.

I am login with root, and i install about 200 domain and subdomain there. I am install in /home/nila/public_html/mysubdomain_or_mydomain_name

nila is my username in webuzo.

Please help me  :cry:

Hi,

You will get this error if you are using Apache2 or Nginx web servers. You can use Apache as web server and enable suPHP from Apache settings and you shall not face this issue.

If you wish to use Apache2 or Nginx as web servers you can add FTP details in your wp-config.php file, to resolve the issue. You can refer to the below guide for the same:

Thanks for response, this problems fix after i am input my detail host and ftp to wp-config.php but did anyway to do this with one command, i have total about 200 subdomain in one machine and of course it need lot time.

This means that WordPress is having limited permission for making changes in the folder that it was installed.

In-order to fix this, all that you need to do is provide necessary permissions for the same.

Run the following Command in your Terminal / Putty / Commandline Prompt after connecting to your Server via SSH.

sudo chown -R apache:apache /var/www/html
