go to google and type php_mycrypt.dll

or

http://www.nodevice.com/dll/php_mcrypt_dll/item13726.html

and download

unrar with winrar of 7zzip

and place the .dll file in

ampps/php/ext

if you know go to your ampps control panel go to php in your control
and there you see 4options ...

click on php extension ,

know a section tab is open with all the extensions of ampps , scroll and you will find mcrypts in the list...

thats it

Hi tidus,

I tried using your suggestion to get mycyrpt extension working .. didn't seem to help on OS X 10.9.3.

Quote
[/Applications/AMPPS/php/lib/extensions]% /Applications/AMPPS/php/bin/phpize
Cannot find config.m4.
Make sure that you run '/Applications/AMPPS/php/bin/phpize' in the top level source directory of the module

What am I missing?

Solution to original issue (mycrypt extension missing in phpMyAdmin) was much simpler .. I just had to click on "Softaculous AMMPS"->PHP->Php Extension->check mycrypt.so

Thanks for your help!
