Hi All
New here, I have two opencart store one I add to server myself the other was with Softaculous. I have 2 question.

1) I install 1.5.6.4 Softaculous but now I want to upgrade it to 2.3.0.2, how do I do this?

2) My other store 2.1.0.2 I install it myself to cpanel which I want to import to Softaculous so I can do auto upgrade when a new version of opencart comes out, is this possible?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

There are some issues with the upgrade utility provided by OpenCart 2 hence we have not provided the upgrade.

Regarding the manual installation you can import it to Softaculous and manage it via Softaculous. Here is the guide on how to import an installation to Softaculous :

Thanks for your reply, when I import my 2.1.0.2 opencart to Softaculous, when a new version comes out will I be able to upgrade with Softaculous? Thanks.

Hi,

Yes when there is a new version and the OpenCart upgrade utility works fine you will be able to upgrade your installation via Softaculous.

You can also backup/restore your installations via Softaculous once it is imported.
