You shouldn't have to "add" Wordpress to Softaculous because the script for its instillation is already installed on and a part of Softaculous. I haven't used it in awhile but you should see after clicking on "Softaculous" something similar to what you see at this LINK.

Wordpress is at the next set of icons and if you just click on it and it should install itself automatically.

Hopes this helps if not leave another message.

Actually Wordpress appears to be the very first script listed for you to click on for its instillation.

Many thanks Zenbudda for your replies, very much appreciated.

In my VPS cpanel I have 3 blog scripts, with wordpress not being one of them. The three scripts being open blog, senedipity and dot clear.

When I go into WHM and Softaculous page and the heading has not software listed in the menu. Simply Home - Settings - Installations - Plans

Thanks

Free,

Open a ticket at Softaculous HERE telling them exactly what you wrote in this message above. They actually have EXCELLENT support and my only real complaint with their suport is that when I have been forced to use it in the past they have invariably corrected my problem themselves with the unfortunate result that then instead of ME learning how to fix the problem I'm forced to ask them for more help when the same snafu happens again.

A bit like having them give me a fish to feed me for the day rather then teaching me how to fish myself so I wont have to go hungry for the knowledge they have but is a bit easier for them to use to correct something rather than posting each step they actually performed to fix it.

Hope that makes sense and that if one of Softaculous techies is reading this they will go back over a number of my support ticket request that all revolved around the same issue and then post the actual solution they used to correct my problem.

Be well and good luck,
Zen

Hi,

It looks like you are using a Free version of Softaculous which does not include WordPress. Please upgrade to the premium version. You refer to the following guide on how to purchase Softaculous :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/Buying_Information

If you have already purchased Softaculous please make sure the scripts are enabled from Softaculous Admin panel -> Software
Here is the guide for the same :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/Enable/Disable_Scripts

@zenbuddha77 Sorry for not explaining the solution for the issue. We will make sure to explain the issue in more details next time.

Free,

Softaculous is way more valuable of a program than what
they charge for it. In fact I purchased the plan that gives me a
lifetime license for $100 and have never regretted getting it for one
moment since then.

Also, this is just FYI. I bought a refurbished
server so that I have one of my own rather than needing to rent space
on some else server. And depending on what you plan to do with your
Wordpress site you might want to consider buying a server yourself. Just
recently I saw a server advertised on Amazon that was just slightly
more
than $100 plus shipping. And shipping that you could have gotten for
free if you just used a trial version of Prime on Amazon.com.

Reason
I purchased my own server is because now I do not need to worry about
censorship which caused a site I had had on Wordpress deleted.

But
then if you really are not worried about any censorship issues it MAY
not be worth it to get your own server which requires needing to learn a
reasonable amount of techie type information. And FYI again, if you did
decide to get a server you do NOT need any expensive Microsoft program
to run it. Their is a free OS for servers known as Ubuntu Server(use either version 12.04 or 14.04). Ubuntu is a Linux program which Softaculous can also be used with by installing AMPPS
which is also FREE! AND last but by no means least with your own server
there is no limit to how many different sites and applications of
Softaculous(Wordpress, Joomla, Dolphin etc) you can set up and use. Well
at least up to the capability of your server's ability to handle
multiple sites.

Be well,
Zen

PS.

Brijesh,

Thanks so much for that information and looking forward to seeing it.
