Error in connecting to the MySQL Database.

Error in connecting to the MySQL Database., When installing Wordpress (1 Replies, Read 2954 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Hi, I am getting this error "error in connecting to the MySQL Database." when trying to create a Wordpress install for a new domain. I am unsure if I need to create the MySql database first so as to have a confirmed username and password for an existing database and then enter those details in the install page OR if Softaculous will as it did in the past create a database when installing Wordpress and so use the values I enter in these fields. If I need to create the MySql database then I can see why this error is being shown. If however Softaculous creates the MySql database then why am I getting this error. I do use difficult/complex passwords with symbols, letters and numbers. Thanks for any help.
