Hi everyone please HELP!!!
I am very new to AMPSS and honestly do not know what i am doing.
I followed every tutuorial, created a database then loaded wordpress the same way they did. and then get server not found.
I don't know what i have done wrong.
When they do it in the video's it works, mine not at all, I cannot even get into the wordpress admin screen.
Please help urgently.

In AMPPS, restart Apache. There is a bug where it doesn't realize there is a new domain until Apache restarts.

I assume you added a domain right? You'll need a domain setup in Ampps. Something like mysite.dev

Hi guys, I have restarted Apache (nothing changed) and yes I did set up a domain as an addon.

I also need help with the setting up of the admin side, proxy etc. I think this might be why nothing in working properly.

I have searched for proper tutuorials till i am blue cannot find anything.
I have worked on virtually every package just not this one and I must admit I am lost.

I am having what appears to be a similar problem. After a few tries I got AMPPS installed on my MacBook Pro. I also cloned a copy of my production site and have it up and running locally. Everything works great on localhost.

But I can't seem to access the server from across my local network. The weird thing is that I am getting partial access (see attached screen shot).

I have created a domain called hh.dev and my local IP is 192.168.0.18. When I go to http://192.168.0.18/hh.dev from another device on the network I get a progress bar for several minutes — yes minutes — and then the server will eventually return some information from the WordPress site but not the expected full page (again, see screen shot).

I have played with the /etc/hosts file and tried my hand at a version of the httpd-vhosts.conf files (as explained in other posts) but to no avail. What else can I do to access my web server across my local network?
