Topic : Ability to change documentroot

I really like Ampps, the simplicity and the power it has, the many scripts we can easilly install and the easy way to manage all this with so little effort.

But, it would be great if there was an option to easily change the documentroot in apache and also be shared to any script / program that needs it, like the ftp manager, I really want to use Ampps for developtment / script testing but I hate going c:\1\2\3\4\5\6\7\8\9\10\www to get to the docroot.

I will love a plain e:\www, i changed the document root by modifing the ..\Ampps\apache\conf\extra\httpd-vhosts.conf file but the ftp manager doesn't care about it.

I know I can make a link to the folder but it doesn't feel the same.

I will keep using XAMPP for the moment.

Keep it up guys, this is the AMP we all have been waiting for!

Hi,

Okay. we will give it a thought about keeping the DocumentRoot flexible. Thank you for the suggestion.
