Will SiteMush be part of Softaculous, or a separate service?

I saw the pricing, and it says per server. I assume that means per server (many sites), and not per site using SiteMush.

SiteMush will be licensed separately.

Yes the pricing is per server so it can be used by any number of users on that server.

The editing takes place on your servers, but does it publish back to our server or does the site have to be hosted by you?

And it's clearly built on top of WordPress, so once a site has been published can it be managed just like any other WordPress site?  Can users add plugins, manage posts, etc. without SiteMush?

We publish static files through the users FTP accounts

While it was based on wordpress, it is heavily modified.
Though we will give an option for a one click wordpress push to the endusers account.

Regards
