Topic : Reseller Has Admin Access

Posted By: greatgator on June 2, 2010, 4:44 am
If you install WHMSonic on your server then go to a reseller account.

The reseller may have admin Access to the Softaculous area in the cPanel addons now.

If you remove WHMSonic then the reseller has a blank screen.

I have been able to duplicate this BUG 4 out of 4 times. And even started with a fresh server install because we could not figure it out.

I previously questioned this from
http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=575&title=Reseller_Has_Admin_Access
because reseller account had admin access to Softaculous on my server after that bug had been reported as fixed.

You may not see this bug unless certain conditions are met on the server. As to not exploit the conditions needed, we have worked with Softaculous support and they assured an updated release to follow soon to fix this bug.
