Topic : Include Drupal Distributions?

There are some pretty nice Drupal distributions targeted to certain vertical applications.

For example, http://openatrium.com/download - I was looking at the Project Management category today, and none of the products had great ratings, nor did any offer Gantt charting.

It looks like OpenAtrium is at least as good as the PM/collaboration scripts being offered, and appears to be professionally maintained by a sponsor organization.

I am also thinking of Commons, a Social distro.

Hi,

Sir OpenAtrium is dependent on Drupal hence we have not included it.
If you would like to suggest and other script which is not dependent on any other script we could add it.

Thanks for the quick answer.

What you say is reasonable, but consider that StandingCloud.com does a similar thing, deploying apps on Cloud VPSes, and they have Joomla as well as Joomla with CiviCRM, for example.

Meanwhile, I set up OpenAtrium, plus the several dependencies for CaseTracker Plus, as well as views_jsgantt, and have produced a nice Gantt chart for my upcoming project.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion. We will discuss this with the higher authorities and try to add it if possible.
By that time if you want to suggest any other script which is independent we can add it.
