 Softaculous scripts, Where are they? (7 Replies, Read 4117 times)

Maybe a silly question, but where are the Softaculous files, or do I have to download them?  :??:

Hi,

Enduser/Admin Panel is located in Ampps\ampps\softaculous. You won't be able to modify them as they are encoded.

And if you are talking about scripts like wordpress, joomla, etc. They are located in Ampps\ampps\scripts. Each script is downloaded first time, only when users try to install it.

Thanks Tidus, First time I installed I didn't  let AMPPS download the files, to my PC  :squi:

So it was my fault !! :-x

I just downloaded AMPPS on my Macbook, but the the scripts folder is empty. Please advise.

Hi,

Are you directly connected to internet ? or are you using proxy ?
AMPPS doesn't support proxy yet.

Execute /Applications/AMPPS/ampps/softaculous/enduser/install.php if it is present :
Code
/Applications/AMPPS/php/bin/php -c /Applications/AMPPS/php/etc/php.ini /Applications/AMPPS/ampps/softaculous/enduser/install.php


If install.php is not present then run the cron :

I have same problem as the original poster under Windows 7. I've downloaded 2.0 version and did clean install. After running ampps and getting into enduser panel, area where the script list should be is empty.

I've also checked folder where the scripts were in 1.9 and there was only error_log.txt.

Before installing version 2 I've deleted version 1.9 because it was throwing me many errors during WP installation on localhost.

Any advice?

Please run the cron command.

Are you connected to proxy ?
