Softaculous

Topic : Cronjob Error

Hello,

I was checking my emails and i saw there was a email from the cronjobs that were running. The result from the Softaculous cron was as follows:

/bin/sh: line 1: 32752 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/php /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/cron.php >> /dev/null 2>&1
Please tell me how to fix this

Hi,

What OS are you using ?
Did you get them right now or is it happening for some time now ?

Hello,

I have been using Softaculous for over four months and i have never had this before. This started about 3 days back.

I use CentOS 5.3 with cPanel.

There may have been people installing scripts but it was nothing special.

Hi,

I fixed the error.
It looks like a PHP BUG in 5.2.6
Just running the following fixed the error:
http://yourserver.com:2086/cgi/softaculous/cron.php

Let me know if this persists.
