I just tried it on my DA server and received the following error (CentOS 64 bit):

Site error: the file <b>/usr/local/directadmin/plugins/softaculous/images/main/functions.php</b> requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.5.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the <a href="http://www.ioncube.com/lw/">ionCube Loader Wizard</a> to assist with installation.[root@ariel ~]#

Hi,

It seems Ioncube is not loaded in your PHP binary :
/usr/bin/php

Please enable Ioncube and then try to install Softaculous.

Let us know if you still face the issue.
