Group: Administrator Post Group: Super Member Posts: 2280 Status:	Hi, The nuCDP Team is extremely happy to launch the Beta Testing of nuCDP Backups. nuCDP is a Block Level near CDP Backup Solution which keeps track of the Block Level changes and sends only those blocks which have changed. This creates a virtual snapshot which users can restore from by the click of a button. nuCDP can be installed on cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk, InterWorx. nuCDP can also be used on just about any server. At the moment we are launching the Beta Version with support for Linux OS. Windows version will be available soon. Also the Plugin for control panel users will be launched very soon. Admins can still backup the server without the plugin (as the nuCDP Client is responsible for the backup). The Plugin which will allow shared hosting users to restore from backups will be available very soon in the next few days. If you would like to Beta Test, you will need one server (we call it the nuCDP Server) which will store the backups. The nuCDP server can handle many devices (e.g. a shared hosting server or any other computer). The nuCDP Client will need to be installed on the computer which needs to be backed up. The installation instructions for both are available on the Wiki : http://www.nucdp.com/wiki/ NOTE : This is a BETA version and it is not recommended you run nuCDP on a production server. Also a ton of updates will be launched in the next few days to improve performance and also introduce various other features. We have been developing nuCDP for the past 2 years, and its been a great experience making it. We are eager for your reviews and suggestions.
