Softaculous <![CDATA[AMPPS 2.7 update bug]]> Sat, 27 Dec 2014 14:08:56 GMT <![CDATA[Unable to load dynamic library php_openssl.dll]]>
I use AMPPS 2.7 on Windows 7 SP3.

When I change my php version from 5.3 to 5.5 I get this error

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:/Program Files (x86)/Ampps/php/ext\\php_openssl.dll' - The specified procedure could not be found.\r\n in Unknown on line 0

I see the php_openssl.dll file inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\php\ext and I see also the libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\php

Also inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\php\php.ini and C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\apache\php.ini the

is uncommented without the ; at the beginning

The same happens when I change to other versions (5.4,5.6) also but with a lot of other errors like

PHP startup: bz2: Unable to initialize module. Module compiled with module API=20131226. PHP compiled with module API=20121212. These options needs to match.

It throws this error for the following modules : bz2, curl, gd, mbstring, mysql, mysqli, openssl, pdo_mysql, pdo_sqlite, soap, sqlite3, xmlrpc, com_dotnet

Only 5.3 is working without errors

Thanks in advance]]>

Thank you for the suggestion.

We will review it and try to add it if their license allows us to add it. We have sent them an email regarding the same. ]]>

<![CDATA[KVM and Xen Questions]]>
I guess I haven't used a VPS without a panel for some time. I have used many KVM and Xen cloud instances and never noticed that there wasn't any graphs of usage. I just checks a couple cloud providers I use for PowerDNS boxes and see that there is no usage stats. Sorry about Q1 & Q3.

We have been making a theme for Vitualizor and let me say it's a great system. Q2 was more about the missing usage graphs. We won't be using OpenVZ, but if the theme is the same for OpenVZ I would still recommend a default theme with usage-graphs. Two follow up questions though (neither is critical):

Q1: Where is the softfooter code? Is it encoded because we couldn't find it. We wanted to pull out the "Page Created".

Q2: When we pulled the "Choose Theme" option from the "User Settings" page, we couldn't edit the page, as it created a Theme not Selected error. Can this option be removed? We'll just have the one Theme.

Are you sure about the backup server on XenServer? We were just testing it a couple of days ago and it said it wasn't supported for XenServer yet. Ultimatey it doesn't matter to me as we'll stick with the KVM, it's been working fantastic!

Regarding the ISOs: a depository for Windows and BSD that could pull automatically like your Templates would be optimum. If you are willing to take some requests we'd like FreeBSD, if possible OpenBSD. We also have some student customers that have requested: CoreOS, Gentoo, and Arch Linux (in order of popularity) so if you're looking for a few more Linux Distros to consider...

Either way, thanks for the rapid response, and the great panel.

First of all you don't need to create a lv,just create a vg.
If you see such issue of 'no space' then unmount the lv and remove that lv.

<![CDATA[KVM and Xen Questions]]>
Sir, KVM will not support monitoring of resources from the Outside. Its kind of not possible to know how the resources are being used up within a VPS.
As an Admin you can see what is the resource usage from the Nodes perspective. But its not sensible to show that to the user.
Only OpenVZ supports the resource usage monitoring in a VPS.

>> Q2: Could you add a new Manage VPS theme page that shows graphs? ( least add it to the to-do list?)

Themes are customizable and we are making a new theme soon for the enduser section.

>> Q3: Is XenServer or Xen-HVM monitoring functional? (I didn't check, and we scrapped the install because of:)

Same as answer to Q1. Admin stats cannot be shown to the user of a VPS. Inside a VPS its not possible to detect.

Q4: Are you working on the Backup Server function for XenServer? (Any ETA?)

Its already supported.

>> From where? Do we open a ticket? (We're not actually interested in Windows, but:)

>> Q6: Do you also have any BSD ISOs or IMGs?

We can make one if need be.

<![CDATA[Os templates and control panels]]> NOT added. It is not secure. The Development team has redeveloped a new panel based on it called Sentora ( Maybe consider that, but I would perfer you waited for an independent evaluation from a group like Rack911.

+1 for VestaCP.

If you're looking for a couple others to consider:
Ajenti and OpenPanel are good to.

Also if you're changing the Panels, please consider bring back DirectAdmin.
