Hi,

It is not recommended from our side. As it is for development use only.

We don't recommend it because all the urls like http://localhost/ampps http://localhost/ampps-admin are know to everyone who uses AMPPS.

You will have to change the httpd.conf and add a vhost file to secure your admin & other important pages. There may be many such reason's that you shouldn't use AMPPS as production server.

Thank you for your quick response. I did end an email to sales and they informed me that ampps is development only and that webuzo is essentially the production or live server version similar to ampps.

Webuzo, it appears, also has ftp and SSL functionality built into it. THis explains the missing functionality.
