Softaculous http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php? <![CDATA[CentOS and root access (Webuzo 2.2.1)]]> http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=5308&tpg=1#p19279
I used webuzo under VMWare workstation - then I "converted" it to / imported to vSphere ESX 5.1

Now this VM does not see the configured eth0 and what ever else I add or remove (devices) will not be seen - so...

I need root access....

Or tell me that this root password is not possible to get and I'll go back to setting up everything from the zero. Or from turnkey... :(

Hints? Help?

tnx

Sorry for the delay.

We have replaced OpenX with Revive Adserver 3.0.4
http://www.softaculous.com/apps/admanager/Revive_Adserver

Please execute the CRON command on your server to get the latest package :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/Immediate_update

At the moment upgrade from OpenX 2.8.x to Revive 3.x is not possible. We are working on it. However you can make a new installation of Revive Adserver 3.0.4 via Softaculous.]]>

If possible to enable this option in next updates it`s will be very good.I have a problem with client who is forget his root password and it`s not easy to explane how client can to change root password over rescue mode.

As i know cpanel, directadmin and others have option to change root password from his administrator panel.
Thanks for the suggestion, we shall implement it if possible.

No!!! root user is the super user on the linux box.
You can only change the password to the Webuzo user :)]]>
