The correct command for the cron job should be :
Code /var/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/cron.php This way, you use the cpanel apache/php and the cron job will work even if the public apache/php is not compiled with the ioncube option. ----------------------- Marie - Co-Owner Need Further Assistance ? Well there is a problem in redirecting the output to /dev/null
In cron it is not run under shell and hence it will need to be fixed in another way. We cant use the above solution as it would create a difference in the core package which will soon be available in PLESK, LXLABS and Direct Admin ----------------------- For immediate support please email us at our Support email address. I have posted here the problem with the current cron file : http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=27&title=Cron_message#p113
It is in DOS format and it seems that linux doesn't convert it properly. Also it seems that your upgrade script is overwriting this file ? I had modified it so it uses the cpanel php to run the command, but it is back to the original non working file this morning... ----------------------- Marie - Co-Owner Need Further Assistance ?
