 No Softaculous Icon in paper_lantern, The text is there for Softaculous, but no icon (4 Replies, Read 2116 times)

In paper_lantern, I seem to be missing the Softaculous icon on some servers with Softaculous installed.

I have the text "Softaculous Apps Installer" in the Software section, but there is no icon.

I tried running /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_sprites but that did not fix it.  The link works and everything, it just looks weird because there's no icon.

Also tried /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/cron.php that didn't fix it either.

What seemed to work for me:

cp /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/styled/basic/icons/soft_div_icons.png /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/styled/basic/icons/softaculous.png
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/sprite_generator --theme paper_lantern

I'm not sure if that's the correct icon or not.  But it would seem that Softaculous is not verifying that /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/styled/basic/icons/softaculous.png is installed.  Or perhaps the plugin should be using a different icon?

Hi,

You can execute the following command and it should generate the icon by using cPanel's install_plugin utility :

/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_plugin /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/softaculous_plugin.tar.bz2
