Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 5 Status:	While adding a new domain I get this error: Access Denied: You dont have permissions to edit hosts file. Entry wont be added to host file. was going to add a picture of the error but then the forum told me this: Quote The following Errors were found : You are not allowed to post links on this forum because you are new to this forum. Group: Member Post Group: Elite Member Posts: 317 Status:	Which Operating system you are using ? If windows then go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder and check hosts file has write permission or not. If not then follow this guide: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754344(v=ws.11).aspx If you are using Linux or MAC then check for /etc/hosts file. And to assign write permission open Terminal and run chmod 666 /etc/hosts
