I used softaculous to install Moodle 2.8.5 in Byethost.com host and keed getting the following error "Fatal error: $CFG->dataroot is not configured properly, directory does not exist or is not accessible! Exiting."

My installation log is attached

Can you guys help me sort this out?

Hi,

Thank you for creating a support ticket with us.

We just checked your account and it seems your host does not allow access to any folders/files created outside the htdocs/ folder.

Moodle requires data directory which has to be outside htdocs/ so that it is not web accessible.

This is something that your host does not allow hence you will not be able to install Moodle on your server.
