I followed the security steps of changing the AMPPS default password. Now I need a password when I arrive at the AMPPS home screen. It wont accept any password I try, and defaults to the username "SOFT". I try to do an email password reset, but afterward get to a blank page. No email is ever sent.

Please help!]]>

<![CDATA[Magento 1.9.1 cron.sh has wrong permissions]]> http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=6357&tpg=1#p23761

Hi,

Sir by default the permission for files is 0644 and we do not set executable permissions for cron.sh because we setup the CRON job with cron.php in the magento package hence cron.sh is not used.

Let us know if you have any questions.
Sorry, didn't get notified of your reply, so just saw this. With 1.9.1, the following commands are in cron.php:
shell_exec("/bin/sh $baseDir/cron.sh $fileName -mdefault 1 > /dev/null 2>&1 &");
shell_exec("/bin/sh $baseDir/cron.sh $fileName -malways 1 > /dev/null 2>&1 &");

So, while cron.php is enabled to run, if cron.sh is not executable, these commands in cron.php fail.]]>
