How to update mysql from 5.5.44 to newest 5.6.26?

Currently the upgrade from MySQL 5.5.44 to MySQL 5.6.26 is not available. We are working on the same and shall try to make it available as soon as possible.

Thanks for your response and yes I now see that Magento 2 is available on the website but in my AMPPS control panel under Magento I still only see,, I am on Mac AMPPS version 3.3 which when I attempt to update it says is up to date. Do you know why it would not show up in my AMPPS console?

Glad to know your issue was resolved.

You can import your manual installation to Softaculous and you can manage upgrades, backup, etc via Softaculous :]]>

That is the reason and maybe I don't think will support soon multi-user.
