Hi there,

I have PHP 5.5 running on my server with a wordpress installation. I have the OpenSSL PHP extension running. I'm getting the following errors when using the Wise Chat wordpress plugin:

Warning: openssl_public_encrypt() [FUNCTION.OPENSSL-PUBLIC-ENCRYPT]: Don't know how to get public key from this private key in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\www\your5e\wp-content\plugins\wise-chat\src\WiseChatCrypt.php on line 33

Warning: openssl_public_encrypt() [FUNCTION.OPENSSL-PUBLIC-ENCRYPT]: key parameter is not a valid public key in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\www\your5e\wp-content\plugins\wise-chat\src\WiseChatCrypt.php on line 33

The plugin developer has mentioned on two separate forums, that this is an issue with OpenSSL on Windows and not with his plugin. It seems there is a fix for XAMPP which involves copying two DLL files from the PHP to the APACHE folder to ensure they're the same version.

That doesn't work with Ampps so I don't really know what to do....

Inside the WiseChatCrypt.php file, there is a public and private key along with all sorts of code to add salt etc. to the keys. Anyone out there that could help me make this thing work, or help me find a definite way to check whether OpenSSL is functioning properly at all?

Using Ampps 3.6 on Windows Server 2012.
