Softaculous WHMCS AutoInstall Script Extra (3 Replies, Read 15665 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	Hi, I have whmcs 6.0.2 and I am able to get the auto installer to work and install my script wordpress but now I'm trying to get the softaculous_extra file configured to have admin email address set as it's not listed by default and it is a need for password reset if new users forget their entered password. I have attempted it numerous times and edit the custom fields and array key as listed in the install.xml but nothing get's installed. I've set the script to be installed by custom fields in the define in whmcs and it didn't work then I set it in the extra file and still did not work. Can someone check this out and tell me what is needed to be entered exactly?

In order to make a custom field for admin email please add the following line to your softaculous_extra.php Code $GLOBALS['softaculous_conf']['custom_fields']['admin_email'] = 'Admin Email '; And create a custom field in WHMCS with the name "Admin Email". Hi, I realize it takes the email from the whmcs account but I wanted to give them the option to specify as well as input their site name and description. I did all of that and it doesn't work. It seems adding the softacoulous_extra file to the hooks folder prevents the install from evening happening. Right now I have just left it to the default auto setup method as adding the extra just doesn't work for me, I have tried over 20 times but I get no install on new account setup when doing the extra fields. I have checked the names explicitly too.
