Is there any other installation of MySQL in your system?
If yes, then stop that MySQL first and then start MySQL from AMPPS.]]>

We don't recommend to change the port other than 80. It was working with port 80 too. Revert the port, restart apache.

And access http://localhost/ampps/install.php, then you should be able to access Enduser and Admin Panel.]]>

Solved, it was a problem with session directory, the easy way to fix is to add a new directory called say sessions to the root of your hosting account, then download and open config.php from within Sugarcrm root andput your session directory name in the relevant part of the config file.

<![CDATA[Problem With SugarCRM]]> http://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=4147&tpg=1#p14188
I have just done a fresh install or Sugar CRM, all seem to go well however when I try to log into the admin panel I am using the username and password I used to setup but it keeps staying on the admin log in page with a message in red saying

You have been logged out because your session has expired.

Any ideas anyone? I was running 6.5.12 but was having trouble updating it to 6.5.13 so decided to do a fresh install using Softaculous, I deleted the old database and all folders so it was truly a brand new install.

Thanks in advance

I've never experienced this issue on newer versions of Windows (Server 2008 or Win7). Is there any particular reason that Ampps would be attempting to run MySQL differently on XP?

Is there any way I can manually set the flags Ampps passes to MySQL so that I can avoid this issue?
