Hello Ampps World!

Running into a bit of a problem with AMPPS today when suddenly trying to access PHPMyAdmin no longer works and returns an error message. See attachment link (dropbox screenshot):

I've tried resetting the password, restoring original configurations, restarting both Apache and MySQL, as well restarting my computer as a whole. I've made no recent changes to any of the configuration files and suddenly happened tonight after creating a new WordPress installation.

Any advice or suggestions?

Kind regards,
Bryce

After some additional troubleshooting, I was still able to access the AMPPS control panel and installations. So I removed my most recent WordPress installation, then restarted MySQL.

After reloading I again attempted localhost/phpmyadmin and it successfully loaded.

I decided to attempt the standard WordPress install again.

Immediately afterward, I again was logged out of PHPMyAdmin and getting the error.

This time, I noticed on reload it gave me a bunch of errors at the bottom of the page:

I removed the installation again, restarted MySQL and was again able to load the PHPMyAdmin panel. So instead of my custom settings on the WordPress install (which were nothing unique, other than installation directory, username/password), this time I just used the default generated settings (installed in /wp/).

Went back to localhost/phpmyadmin and again greeted by the same connection error.

Not sure what's going on. This is the first time it's happened. No changes.

Also no recent changes on my computer either. Worked fine until a few hours ago.

Is there perhaps a limitation to the number of installations AMPPS can have?

I have a LOT of installations! I am a developer, we have a large client base so AMPPS has been actively part of my daily life. Now struggling with this encountered issue. Any suggestions?

Kind regards,
Bryce

Ugh! Another update!

I've discovered after deleting a previously installed version of WordPress, suddenly it worked after installing a new WordPress installation. I was able to access phpmyadmin after the new install and after the older (any random one) was deleted.

Am I discovering that there are limitations to how many installations we can have?
