I'm running webuzo on an Amazon ec2 instance and I cannot edit my exim.conf file because I do not have permission to access it.

I have two users on my system, the user that was created when webuzo was installed and another user called "ec2-user".

My user does not have root access, and "sudo" does not work.

I do not have the password to the "ec2-user" or to "root".  I did the "change root password" option on the control panel and it did nothing.  The password I chose does not work.

How to I get root access or edit this file another way?

Hi,

You can user the key-pair associated with the instance and login using the "ec2-user" user
The "ec2-user" is added to the sudoers list.

Hope this helps :)
