Hi all,

I installed AMPPS on a USB 3.0 external drive to be able to use the same
webserver and files everywhere i go.
It was working brilliantly so far but recently i discovered that MySQL is out
of sync.
For example on my laptop i cannot see some tables i created at work and
other tables have different data. I never noticed this before, the database always
seemed to be in perfect sync.
I am always stopping all AMPPS services before i remove the drive and using safe remove.

The OS is Windows 7 64 on both machines.

What i am doing wrong? Or AMPPS is creating temporary files outside it's install folder?

Hi,

No. AMPPS doesn't create any file outside AMPPS directory.

Try to regenerate this issue again. And just confirm if the database/table are created by accessing the Data Directory.

Problem solved.
I changed the drive letter to W,  to be the same on both computers
and the my.ini in the mysql folder still contained the old drive letter in the path.

Thank you for your time.
