PHP-Pear, I see lots of apple products but pear is fresh out (3 Replies, Read 9710 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 7 Status:	I am using CentOS 7 with Ampps 3.3. My PHP is version 5.3 (needed for legacy websites) What I am getting is HTML_Table not found, in my research I have found this is a pear function. My concern is the '--without-pear' in the configure command of a phpinfo(); output. Is there a 5.3 build of PHP in Ampps that has pear enabled by default? Thanks, Matthew/

Open Terminal and run following commands. cd /usr/local/ampps/php/bin wget http://pear.php.net/go-pear.phar /usr/local/ampps/php/bin/php go-pear.phar You will get following message then press "Y" and enter. Would you like to alter php.ini ? [Y/n] let me know if you are still facing the same issue.

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 7 Status:	Hello Rishi, Appreciate the answer, I did find these steps in my web travels to resolve this issue prior to posting the question. I did re-trey them again, and have found the same issue. Is there away to recompile php-5.3 to include pear as the current configure command explicitly says '--without-pear' Really appreciate the response, Thank you. Matthew/

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 7 Status:	Sorted! Turns out pear has a module installer of its own, I had to install pear modules to make the site work. Who knew!! Thanks for the assistance. Matthew/
