I guess I don't understand AMPPS very well.  I'm running it on OSX Yosemite 10.10.1

I'm having some problems with xdebug, and I looked I'm running a fairly old version.  On AMPPS updates it says that I am running Softca.. 4.6.0 which is the latest version.  But phpinfo reports that I am running 5.3.8 which was part of AMPPS two versions ago.

I guess I could uninstall the whole thing and start over, but it's basically working.  Is there to update AMPPS automatically, i.e. PHP, Apache and MYSQL?

Softaculous 4.6.0 is the latest add-on to AMPPS. You can use softaculous 4.6.0 with your current version of Ampps. Your phpinfo is showing info about the php version that you are using in your AMPPS. You can update AMPPS from your AMPPS application
Open AMPPS application -> Help -> About
Click on update available to upgrade Ampps to latest version
