I want to move from using XAMPP for which I had DocumentRoot configured as D:/www to using AMPPS with the same DocumentRoot path, D:/www. I tried changing Apache's httpd.conf but Apache won't restart. Some threads mention using symlinks but that's for Linux, this is on Windows 10.

Is this possible please?

First time I edited httpd.config I changed the path for www on all lines that referenced 'www', when I changed on only 2 lines as described here then Apache did restart.

However should the path also be changed for ScriptAlias and VirtualHost settings Directory, ErrorLog, and CustomLog?
