MySql starts, but not the Apache server.
I am new to PCLinuxOS, but have used Ampps earlier on Windows without problems.

Got some info here, but you might need more?

Found a solution, but don't know if this is the way... But I have to open terminal and then enter
Code
su root
. Then I have to enter
Code
cd /usr/locale/ampps
, and finally
Code
./Ampps
.

Is this the only way to make it start, because this is the only way it works for me.

Hi,

Yes.

When you open it from the explorer, working directory is set right.

We will set the working directory in coming version.

Txt in terminal after using ./Ampps:
Code
QInotifyFileSystemWatcherEngine::addPaths: inotify_add_watch failed: No such file or folder
QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /usr/local/ampps/conf/php-5.2.ini
[DownloadManager::execute] "http://api.ampps.com/update-linux.php?arch=x86_64&version=2.4"
[Ampps::exec] "/usr/local/ampps/apache/bin/httpd-k start"

Also followed the url above in the code, but got message that Apmms was up to date,

It doesn't generate an error log as far as I can figure out.
I tried to use the "Error log"-button, but nothing happens

Hi,

Rename or delete the mysql configuration at /etc/my.ini or /etc/my.cnf

Yesterday I tried as 'root'-user. Today I started ampps with ordinary user, and choosed the option 'Run as root'. In main window it now says that both Apache and MySql are started. Then when I try to enter phpMyAdmin I'm getting this error:
'#2003 - Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (111)
The server doesn't respond/ansewer.'

I replaced PCLOS with Linux Mint 17, and at the moment it seem that everything is up and running. Let me test a bit first :)
