Softaculous <![CDATA[Wordpress auto install]]> ]]> Thu, 02 Jul 2015 14:45:25 GMT <![CDATA[WordPress Plugin vs Custom Package]]>
You can use adding plugins if you just want to add a plugin because in this scenario you will not need to maintain the updates for custom WordPress package and the updates for WordPress package in Softaculous will work for you.

If you create a custom WordPress package you will need to manually update the package when there is a new version of WordPress.

Custom WordPress package is recommended if you want to highly modify the package i.e. install plugins/themes add some content, etc]]>

You will need to create the conf and mods directory :
mkdir /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/conf/
mkdir /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/conf/mods/

<![CDATA[WordPress Plugin Installation]]> Great thank you...

as a follow up question I've been following but I'm having trouble getting the plugin to show up...

I've found two dirs that were setup by the installer one is in /var/softaculous/wp where I see the files for configuring and installing WordPress and the other path is /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/enduser/

the support doc say to put the plugin files into /PATH/TO/softaculous/conf/mods/wp/
but I can't find a conf/mods folder anywhere... is that doc out of date?

I've tried putting the files into the wp dir but the file isn't showing up.... there is another plugin in the installation process called limit login attempts but I haven't been able to find this plugin anywhere either...]]>

<![CDATA[[ FileZilla ] Support TLS in FTP]]> I pay a lot for a VPS so need this TLS support in TLS.. i have SSL on mt website but this has no sense if when i connect via FTP are all in clear.

Please consider to implement it.
I see free service like altervista has already implemented this.

Hope to see soon.
I'm afraid to see in this day.. your staff is very busy. Ticket are opened without reply for more than 4 days and no reply.. can mean someone have server down.

So i hope this TLS security will be implemented soon FTP is used often for update or make operations.
