Topic : Atutor Update

Posted By: johannes on September 24, 2011, 4:47 am
Hello,
I found on the adminpanel an update for ATutor 2.0.2  -->  2.0.3, also i get the new version if I make an update from the scriptlisting, but however on the enduserpanel there is an 2.0.2 installation without showing new version or upgradefunction.
Thanks

Hello,
I will open a ticket, thank you, but I cannot give root access. I would kickout Atutor before.

I saw in your demoinstallations also inside the adminarea in Atutor the possibility to upgrade it.  Arent they not upgraded automatically in the demo like in our installations?  Maybe you can see the same problem?

Thank you!

Johannes

Hi
This is my first post as I installed softaculous yesterday only. Excellent software!
I noticed one little issue:
When a script has been installed, the email which is sent doesn't seem to be correctly encoded as letters with accents don't display properly (french language).
I looked into the french language files but didn't find these expressions. So I guess it is located in other files (hard coded, encrypted files).

Hi Raza,

hijacking an 4 year old thread with the topic Atutor is maybe not the best idea to get support on another problem with characters.
I suggest the next time you open a new thread, that will highly improve the chance to get answers for your prob.

From my small knowledge point about character issues you should look at 3 parts:
1) character encoding from your server (utf8 ?)
2) character encoding from your  database / mysql (utf8 ??  --> in most cases here is the problem with wrong characters) and also the collation
3) character encoding from your webbrowser.

Ideally they should all be the same and proven to handle french character set.

Take a look here  http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16123076/utf-8-french-accented-characters-issue

You should find a lot more info with google "utf8 french characters"

Hope it helps a little bit, just my 2 cent :)
