I have changed the domain name to my site and was curious as to how to change the domain on softaculous without fearing I might break the site. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Can you please explain what issue you are facing ? Do you want to move your installation from one domain to another ?

You can try the Clone function in Softaculous :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/Clone

Also which script you have installed ? At the moment we support the following scripts for Clone :

I just want to change the domain name from the old domain to the new domain in the softaculous installation.

I just changed my website domain to a new domain. I opened my cpanel and looked at the Softaculous installation and noticed it's still using the old domain. Can I change the domain in the Softaculous installation to the new domain in the editor without screwing up my site?

Hi,

Yes you can edit the installation details using the following guide :
http://www.softaculous.com/docs/How_to_edit_an_installation

This will just updated the Softaculous records and will not make any changes to your site.
