Group: Member Post Group: Working Newbie Posts: 75 Status:	The first page you get up after installation of Oxwall in ampps is: you must specify Gender, Birthday and click "Continue" But after clicking on "Continue" then brings up an empty website with the wrong message at the top "Fatal error: Call to undefined function ctype_digit () in /usr/local/ampps/www/ow_utilities/date_time.php on line 377 " Why is not Oxwall compatible with ampps in Linux? Only uses Linux on bege computers now. Windows 8.1 and 10 is completely Unusable, to delete them.

You can activate the same from AMPPS Control Center -> PHP -> PHP Extension -> Select "ctype.so" from the list and click on apply. Hope this helps. Group: Member Post Group: Working Newbie Posts: 75 Status:	No I have now been active for several months in the periods, both with Ampps and Webuzo. And one place must just say pass. None of the programs are working either on Ubuntu or some other Linux distribution that encouraged from you! Ampps perform poorly in both Linux and Windows, when to use Oxwall. Now I install Linux openSUSE with lamp server, manual installation of Oxwall, when I look att their options are hopeless for Oxwall software. You should take Oxwall out of their list until you've managed to fix the problems.

You will have to download the latest package from: http://www.oxwall.org/download Then create a directory in /path/to/AMPPS/www and unzip/untar the package in the folder. Create a MySQL database and try to install the script by following the steps mentioned in the Oxwall installation guide here: https://docs.oxwall.org/install:manual_installation Please let us know if you need any further information.

But after sign upp a testuser, i have this after i have filing in info for a new user and klicking ok Error 500 Internal Server Error. Group: Member Post Group: Working Newbie Posts: 75 Status:	I have tested ampps both linux and winsows system. And may conclude att ampps not compatible with Oxwall script. Which bug you choose to have depends on which operating system you choose. I use ampps in windows. But have one plugin installed in Oxwall "add user" who makes that i can easily add users manually. For it is not for users to sign up, then it is bug in ampps makes att users get an error message after completing registration. And the user will not acquire any email. So email system does not work on ampps. But nevertheless. I prefer, so security is the Internet, to add users themselves. Therefore, this is no longer one problem for me in windows10. It has now become a standard procedure here with me, and stop Microsoft from peeking in my Windows10 as it is to stop all spam and MSA also in this context. Security for btrukerne comes first with me. But thank you for all your help out here. Hope you can fix ampps in the future from these problems, even though I no longer depend on them.

This error is because mail() function does not work on localhost hence you face this issue while sending an email. And then you register an account by default Oxwall sends an email with the registration details and since the mail() function fails hence you see this error. The mail function does not work on localhost. [mail function] ; For Win32 only. ; http://php.net/smtp SMTP = 127.0.0.1 But it is not sent out any email from my windows ampps server! But thank you for all your help

It will further say that if I need help from developers of various plugin, they do not come into the ftp via one ftp program! Because my ftp only "localhost" Is there anything I can do about this?
