When trying to upgrade c5 from version 5.7.4.1 to 5.7.5.1 through the Softaculous it results in error (see attachment).

After several useless attempts, I finally upgraded in c5 directly - worked perfect!

Seems to be an SQL-problem...

Hi,

After upgrading via Softaculous you need to access the database upgrade utility of your installation. The URL for the same is provided on the upgrade page in Softaculous. :
http://example.com/index.php/ccm/system/upgrade

Did you visit this URL ? If you do not visit this URL your database will not be updated causing issues.

Glad to know your issue was resolved. If you are still facing the issue feel free to contact us and we can check it for you :

Hi, thanks for your answer. And YES, i did visit the URL given by Softaculous - you need to be logged in as Admin anyway to do the upgrade.

I did the final step in c5 and when process came to finish, it's where the error occurs.

It is a new issue - I work with Softaculous and c5 many years now, and i never had this issue.

As for me - problem is solved - i just put it here, in case that others have the same issue.

Only Minus-Point: my Softaculous-screen in cPanel does now show an old version and gives me the 'You have got a pending update' message... But i can live with that :-)

You can refer to the following guide on how to update Softaculous records :
