Hi,

Finally managed to install and run AMPPS, which is a good progress because WAMP, XAMPP and EasyPHP didn't work AT ALL. But, I get "unable to connect" when I try to navigate to my localhost.

I checked your WIKI but it only has a solution for a blank localhost. Mind you, mine is not blank, it's a different kind of error.

First time around, the server wouldn't start because the stupid Skype was blocking one of the ports. I solved that but I thought php might have failed to install properly, so I restored the default config, and loaded this one
localhost/ampps/install.php

Still doesn't work. Then I ran this on cmd

"C:/Program Files (x86)/Ampps/php/php.exe" -c "C:/Program Files (x86)/Ampps/apache/php.ini" "C:/Program Files (x86)/Ampps/ampps/softaculous/cron.php"

Doesn't work. Nothing happens, no error messages, no confirmations. CMD completely ignored this command.

Please see the error log attached. Got a loooot of notices but I can't say I understand a word :)
I'm hoping you could help.
Thanks

Hi,

Your Apache Error Log have no error.

First Select PHP 5.3 version.

Click on Default Configuration option under Ampps Control Panel.

Now open command prompt and then first run CRON command
"path/to/Ampps/php/php.exe" -c "path/to/Ampps/apache/php.ini" "path/to/Ampps/ampps/softaculous/cron.php"

And then Run following command to Install install.php
"path\to\Ampps\php\php.exe" -c "path\to\Ampps\apache\php.ini" "path\to\Ampps\ampps\softaculous\enduser\install.php"

Please open support ticket here, if you are still facing the same issue:
