Hi,

For the other fellow  users who might face this issue.
This error occurs due to the following reasons:

1. If the packages are not downloaded properly
Solution : Execute the CRON command:
http://softaculous.com/docs/Immediate_update

2. Disk space is full on your server
Solution : Please make disk space required for the script to install.

In a few cases you might try to re-install Softaculous which should resolve the issues.

If the problem persists you can open a support ticket:

I'm not very knowledgeable about using the command line, but usually get by cutting and pasting commands.

I'm using Terminal on a Mac and none of the commands offered at 2, above, seem to work.

Help appreciated.

This has happened to me on multiple occasions in the past few months.

Each time the directory in the Installation details has been incorrect (usually home2 instead of home).

More of a reminder to my future self or anyone else that stumbles across this old thread!
