Hey

So ive installed virtualizor and i like the interface and also that it comes with a vps panel for customers. but the only problem i have is not with your panel but with the  datasenter i rent my server. i only get 5 ip, and they are not real ip its failover ip. and ive been searching the whole world for answers. What i do have is a shit load of IPV6 adresses. So my question is as follow. IS there anyway that i can setup my server to make vps with shared ipv4 and private ipv6? (if not) how do u even get my failover ip to work with the vps, tryed to follow the guides on ovh, but im not at ovh im at sys, and couldnt find anything there.. Thanks for any help i can get on this. really like to use this panel for my hosting.

Hi,

Does your DC provide the option to add Virtual MAC for these IPv4 addresses ? If so then,
- Generate one for each IP and then in Virtualizor Admin Panel add it to that IP under Admin Panel > IP Pool > List IPs > Select and edit the IP and add the Virtual MAC generated from your DC's panel.
- Create VPS with this IP from Virtualizor panel
- If network is still not working, then see if you have added correct Gateway and netmask and if required selected "routed" option.

You can also check with your DC support if they support Virtual Servers (VPS) to use these failover IPs and necessary network configuration details to make it work.
